Faith Formation Program
As a Catholic community, we believe that preparation for and celebration of the Sacraments involves our Parish community as well as our families, since at Baptism, we become members of the Body of Christ. Therefore, family members and parishioners are involved in the preparation process for the Sacraments as well as in the living out of Christian life.
Baptism of Infants and Younger ChildrenParents preparing for the Sacrament of Baptism for their child(ren) participate in a Preparation Program held at the Ministry Center. Contact the Parish Office at 683-6522 to register for the Program. Infant Baptisms usually take place on the third Sunday of the month at the 11:30 AM Mass or at other times by special arrangement.
Godparent selection is an important decision for your child. You need at least one practicing Catholic to serve as a Godparent to your child. Please click HERE for information regarding the proper selection of your child's Godparent(s). |
Baptism of Adults and Children over 7 (RCIA)The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a year round process of weekly sessions led by a team of parishioners for any person interested in learning more about the Catholic Church or in becoming a full and active member of the Catholic Church through the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and/or Eucharist. Children seven and older, and young people who are unbaptized participate in a similar process.

First EucharistThe preparation for children in Grade 3 for First Eucharist seeks to make them more aware of God's love and their call to be part of the "Body of Christ." Parents, catechists and the Parish community are personally involved in bringing our children to the Table of the Lord. An alternate process is provided for older children and adults. For more information, click on the drop-down under "Sacraments" and select "Holy Eucharist."
