First Penance
Children at least 7 years of age and in the 2nd grade prepare in class and with their families to receive First Penance
The second Sacrament a child receives if they were baptized as an infant is the Sacrament of Reconciliation (also called Confession). This is done when the child reaches the age of reason, about 7 years old or second grade.
