OLP Holy Name Society Scholarship Recipients
The OLP Holy Name Society (HNS) is please to announce the recipients of this year's scholarships for 8th grade parishioners planning to attend a Catholic high school in thefall, as well as our new scholarship for current 3rd grade parishioners planning to attend 4th grade at a Catholic grammar school in September.
The recipients of the 8th grade scholarships are
Ryan Heintz (St. Mary’s),
Aidan Falk (Canisius) and
Samantha Arcara (Mount Mercy).
The recipients of our new 4th grade scholarships are
Emma Janis (St. Mary’s Elementary) and
Cecilia Perillo (St. Mary’s Elementary).
Congratulations to all scholarship recipients. The HNS could not provide such assistance without your generous and continuing support of our fundraising activities. Thanks to yoursupport and participation in such activities, the HNS was able to provide tuition assistance to OLP parishioners this year in the total amount of $3,000.

ABOUT US: The Holy Name Society (HNS) at OLP is a fellowship ministry committed to bringing people to Christ and providing devotional reverence to the holy name of God. We are part of a family of families who strive to make God the center of our lives through corporal and spiritual works off mercy. By our many parish focused activities we directly support the OLP faith community spiritually, emotionally, substantively and financially.
SERVE WITH US: The HNS usually meets in the OLP Ministry Center on the second Sunday of the month following the 8:30 a.m. mass. However, as the circumstances dictate, we occasionally meet during the week.

I believe, O Jesus, that thou are the Christ, the Son of the Living God.
I proclaim my love for the vicar of Christ on Earth.
I believe all the sacred truths which the holy Catholic Church believes and teaches.
I promise to give good example by the regular practice of my faith.
In honor of his Divine Name - I pledge myself against perjury, blasphemy, profanity and obscene speech.
I pledge my loyalty to the flag of my country, and to the God given principles of freedom, justice and happiness for which its stands.
I pledge my support to all lawful authority, both civil and religious.
I dedicate myself top the honor of the sacred name of Jesus Christ and beg the He will keep me faithful to these pledges - until death.
